  Federico is an innovator and an entrepreneur. MSc in Environmental Sciences and Technologies at the University of Milan in 1997, he works with his teams to innovate and promote “innovative sustainability” business models in Fashion, Luxury, Interior Design, Automotive and other industries. He has developed specific technical skills in: Applied Research, Biotechnologies, Life Cycle Assessment, Life Cycle Costing, Corporate Social Responsibility, Risk Management, Technology Transfer. He is also the curator of Innovation Square by Lineapelle.

  Mr. Ferraro is the Executive Director of the FIT/Infor Design and Technology Lab (DTech) at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. The DTech Lab is a public/private partnership whose mission is to engage faculty and students to solve industry problems using design and technology. The strategic goals of DTech’s experiential learning are accomplished through projects that empower entrepreneurs and engage industry. Since June of 2017 the DTech Lab has undertaken nearly 28 projects engaging 30 faculty and almost 90 students as they explore the impact of emerging technology on design, manufacturing and retail. Project partners have ranged from global technology leaders such as IBM to iconic lifestyle brands such as Tommy Hilfiger.
