  CEO and co-founder of DIS

  Andrea Carpinetti, PhD in Business Economics, up until 2014 carried out management consultancy interventions in the fields of HR, business organisation, and business strategy. In 2015, he founded, with his brother Francesco Carpineti and Michele Luconi, DIS (Design Italian Shoes) with the aim of innovating the footwear sector and enhancing local craftsmanship. In 2020, he created Future Fashion, to help fashion brands virtualise and customise their collections in 3D, improving the customer experience and reducing sample production costs.

  Federico is an innovator and an entrepreneur. MSc in Environmental Sciences and Technologies at the University of Milan in 1997, he works with his teams to innovate and promote “innovative sustainability” business models in Fashion, Luxury, Interior Design, Automotive and other industries. He has developed specific technical skills in: Applied Research, Biotechnologies, Life Cycle Assessment, Life Cycle Costing, Corporate Social Responsibility, Risk Management, Technology Transfer. He is also the curator of Innovation Square by Lineapelle.
