  Federico is an innovator and an entrepreneur. MSc in Environmental Sciences and Technologies at the University of Milan in 1997, he works with his teams to innovate and promote “innovative sustainability” business models in Fashion, Luxury, Interior Design, Automotive and other industries. He has developed specific technical skills in: Applied Research, Biotechnologies, Life Cycle Assessment, Life Cycle Costing, Corporate Social Responsibility, Risk Management, Technology Transfer. He is also the curator of Innovation Square by Lineapelle.

  Serenella Sala is the Deputy Head of the Land resource and Supply Chain Assessments Unit of the Directorate D- Sustainable Resources at the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission. She is an environmental scientist with a PhD in Ecotoxicology, working as team leader of the life cycle assessment group of the JRC. Her research activities have been always focused on sustainability assessment of supply chains, adopting Life cycle assessment as reference methodology.
